TANTE CATOCHE DU HOUSSOIT was born in 2003 to Ogano Sitte x Ksar Sitte x Ballinvella XX. She is the produce of an interesting inbreeding with the performing stallion, DARCO, and the fantastic broodmare, INSEL SITTE (Major de la Cour), direct descendant of the Olympian GUTE SITTE (Grande). Her spotted mantle finds its roots in Ireland in the third maternal generation. After having shown her brilliant qualities as a jumper in free jumping exercises she was immediately placed with the pedigree at the Horse of Belgium stables, where she was brought up. She arrived in Switzerland in 2012 and is one of Stud San Martino’s broodmares. She has already given birth to three foals.
TANTE CATOCHE DU HOUSSOIT is the uterine sister of ARTEMISE DU HOUSSOIT (to Sherman Sitte) who in 2012, at age 6 years, took part in the World Breeding Jumping Championship in Lanaken. Rider Dirk Demeersman has been behind the reins since 2014. Together they have had placings in the 140 category.
Another interesting uterine brother of TANTE CATOCHE DU HOUSSOIT is the spotted stallion FIDELGO DU HOUSSOIT (Button Sitte). Born in 2011, after having ranked 4th in free jumping at the CSI-W in Mechelen, he was approved by sBs Studbook. An approved brother for our broodmare!
